We discussed the components of our Strategic Action Plan at our April 23 meeting. It was interesting to hear so many historical details about our club.
Margie Brown of Centreville was the lucky winner of our April 8th Rotary Adventure Club 2025 draw. Margie won the Quebec City Winter Weekend Getaway.
We had a sleigh ride yesterday @C & R Belgians - Brow Mountain Road Berwick. What a great day for it, we all had so much fun.
We inducted three new members to the club this morning! Gary introduced Ryan Messiah. Susan introduced Jocelyn Nix, and Axel introduced Julie Vanexan. Our new members were welcomed by President Holly and given their pins.
Our January 22 meeting was well attended and we welcomed a number of guests - Jocelyn Nix, Julie Vanexan, Wally Jarvis, and Steve Weiss. EMS Principal Stan MacVicar was our guest speaker; he gave an interesting talk on the “C-Pen” which is an assistive device that scans and reads text to students with learning differences.
Christmas Family dinner at Orchard Valley United Church. Lots of smiling faces and Christmas spirit! Santa visited and everyone played charades!
